Transmission Problems
hey I have a 2000 audi tt quattro 5spd and I'm having very hard times finding anything on this problem
It started with a quite "clunk" while going in reverse or first gear... than I noticed it would do it if I let off the gas while in 2nd gear w/o touching the clutch.. Than it got worse, with the "clunk" becoming louder and started to shake the whole car..
Now the "clunk" went away "d@mn audi's fix them selfs" but I can tell somethings wrong because when I leave it in 1st gear or even reverse it still rolls down hill like nothing would be stopping it.. also I noticed than under the air intake where the clutch and shift **** are connected I can switch gears like none other, not hitting the clutch..
By the way the car runs just fine, I can drive it, hit full boost, no slipping..
can anyone pls tell me what's wrong, thx.
