trip meter

Default trip meter

my battery went dead I had it jump started but now I cannot figure out how to get the trip meter to stop blinking - 0:00h - any suggestions? the reset button doesn't seem to work it is a 2005 TT quattro with about 1000 miles on it thanks

On the underside of the wiper switch stalk there is a button labeled "Reset." Try that. I think that will solve your problem.

no, if you're resetting the time, you'll need to pull the stick on the left, next to the display you want to set. That should put it into 'set' mode, and then twist it to the right to cycle thru the hrs. Another pull switches to minutes, and so on down thru the date. Once you get the year set, one more pull will make the whole date flash, and then you're done.

thank you for your reply I have tried the reset button and the pull on the left neither seems to work any other suggestions?

My bad... I thoughtyou weretalking about the display in the center of the dash where the average speed, mpg and trip time are displayed. You need to pull the trip odometer **** out to put it into time set mode.

should be the stick on the left. I confirmed with my car. Pull and hold for 1-2 seconds, the hr should start flashing.
