What should I expect to pay for a new clutch on my 01 TT? I got a quote for 1400+ and shat myself.

Just the clutch, umm way cheeper than that, if that is for OEM clutch and installation its not really that bad of deal. Quattro or FWD?

That's for parts and labor OEM on a Quattro.

Thats terrible! In my thread "Clutch slip or TIP collapse" it was said that labor would cost around 6-750 bucks and you could get an aftermarket stage 1 clutch from ecs for around $350. You can do the math

could always do it yourself.....its not that bad.....esp ig you have a lift...(unlike me with jackstands)

Who was that quote through and have you checked with Auotsport Werks yet? If not, call them up and speak with Bryan Lagas. They are the lowest cost yet with quality shop that I have found in the area. PM me if you need ph# and such.
