Default Turbo Upgrade Input

I just wanted to hear from fellow peeps on their opinion of the Garrett GT35R or the GT28R.

Internals will be stock, changing out injectors, FP Reg and Revo Stage 2 or 3 Flash. FMIC of course as well.

Input ???[sm=feedback.gif]

gt28r = 270-310whp - full boost 3k
gt35r = 400-600whp - full boost 4.7k

There is a huge differnce in those turbos. Im not even going to run a gt35r with a 2.0 and over 500whp goals.

Best turbos for stock internals - gt28r, gt28rs, gt2871 (with some restraint), t3t4 50trim, and t3s60. All make good power and can be run saftly on stock engines. Also you will need all the fueling requirements that the tune calls for. Revo isnt in my top 2 choices.

good choice. Its a great street turbo for the 1.8t. If you ever think you may want more power down the road, you should also consider a gt2871r. Its only ~$50 more and has greater potential. You will however need to do rods to see the full benifits of the turbo but with a good tune and boost control. Lag is also no more that 200rpms
