Default Vibration

Hey guys I'm a new owner of a 2000TT and I love it but,
I have two issues with my car and I'm hopping to get some pointers.
First there is a somewhat loud vibration noise around 3700rpm or in 5th gear at 80mph and it sounds like it resonate through the frame and I can't figure it out.
Secondly my high beam indicator light is on with the low beam on and I can't get the high beam to come on.
I would really appreciate some help on how to deal with these issues!
Thanks

1st could be an exhaust vibration or leak. Most imtes a vibrating noise (not actual vibration) is just something hitting something else like heatshield, wiring, exhaust hanger loose, etc).

Second issue might be the switch itself. Sure your HB bulbs are ok?

The vibration issue it feels and sound deep and I not sure, I though maybe it was coming from the turbo and I'm not sure how to verify that. The weird thing it's only at 3700rpm.
Brrman Thanks for the inputs

when the vibration starts, shift into neutral & coast. if it continues, the problem is probably in the suspension, wheels, etc. if it stops, the issue is probably in the drive train or exhaust.

if it is @ 3700 rpm regardless of gear, it very well could be exhaust.

I did the neutral thing and it stops the vibration.

Thanks Danzan

Default Exactly The Same!!

Hey there, I have exactly the same issues as you! only difference is that my beams work normally, only my high beam indicator is on permanently, and i get a failed bulb dash warning when i switch the lights on.

As for the vibrations, exactly the same. I have changed the two top engine mounts and am thinking about doing the dogbone mount too, but after doing much reading I´m starting to think its maybe flywheel, or turbo, or exhaust related.

Did you rectify your problem???????
