So, one day the door opens and the window goes down, doesnt do it again.
Another day it does it again and stays down. The only way to get it back into position is too stand by the door, hold the button and move the door till it goes up, shut the key off, close the door and it will stay up till i open the door with the key in the ignition. I had a tech look at the wires at the hinge and in the door and cant find a thing. Any Ideas

 

I have an 08 and the window dropped a 1/2 inch while it was parked and I read that if you put the key in the ignition and turn it on but not start, and then pull the two switches as if to close the windows and hold for 5 seconds ... It resets them. So I tried it and it worked. Has happened again this winter and the reset worked. Try it and see if that helps! There was another post that I read where the wire in the mechanism had stretched so it would no longer completely shut....lets hope that's not your issue. Gl hope you get it sorted.

 

Had to put a new motor in mine, $500 repair. Just fyi..
