Default What is the code for my turbo?

I have a 2000 Audi TT 180 hp... What is the code for that turbo and I wanted to upgrade to the 225 hp turbo.. Will that swap make a difference for the money? I am looking for the code for my turbo and also the code to the 225hp turbo just incase I decide to buy the 225hp turbo. Thanks Guys..

Ps.. I have searched the site and no luck on the code... Thanks

Was the faq part of the search? They are not direct swaps, you need everything from the 225: turbo, manifold, injectors, etc.

The part of my search was "oem turbo" "stock turbo" "TT turbo" I think you are picking up that I was searching for.

I don't think its worth the money. Just buy a chip. If you don't have one already

If you want to swop turbos just go for a BT(big turbo) set up . Might be a little more $$$ but more practical. IMO

Is chip expensive to put in? I have never chipped a car before.. What all does the chip do? More fuel and boost?

Its a remap. They increase the psi and timing with fueling to match. It use to be an actual chip in the ecu, but now they are flashed. Most cost $500 and you do nothing but bring it to a dealer.

Better then wasting your money on a K04 turbo. Check out the numbers on APR.
