Mine shows bottom pegsome mornings..takes about 1 minute, then the needle shoots right to the correct level. It is however random (who'd think with an Audi ) it can go days without a glitch. Just another joy of ownership...

the sender is a sweep type needle and wears out when only putting a few gallons in so the top end stays new, when you fill and get half way down the needle drops to zero that's because its warn away by a cheap git

So techbod are you sayin that the gauage will read up until your at a half tank then drop to 0? Mine will stay at full until I'm actually at half a tank then the guage will start to drop.

Gas in tank - Guage reading
Full - Past full
3/4 full - Past full
1/2tank - Last line on gauge reading full
1/4 tank - 3/4 of a tank left
Empty (literally[:@]) - Dead center half a tank left
WTF I hope I can get AofA to fix it for me.
I have a formall letter to them and some gov agency to see if they'll replace the cluster.
