XM radio
Is there a way to get the 2004+ XM radio hookup working on a pre-04? I have a 2002 with the Concert/Bose setup and I'm trying to find out what changed between the 2002 and 2004 that allows the addition of the XM receiver. If it's as easy as getting a 04 or 05 Concert head unit and the rest is plug-and-play I might be up for that. I would like to make my XM radio is invisible as possible. I'm using the XM Pioneer XM2GO thing now.
On another issue, I love being able to hide the radio behind the nice TT panel, but why aren't there axuliary controls either on one of the sticks (turn signals or wipers) or on the wheel? I mean you can hide the radio and all the radio info you need is on the dash, why not make it so you can control it without flipping the cover up?

great question about the head unit, i just got my TT tonight and will be using the FM transmitter tomorrow am(myfi) i would like to keep my stock radio and integrate the xm. I had a xm commander in my jetta with a pie-x3 converter that was very oem looking. I would love a new oem head unit that i could hook up xm to, that would be nice, any info on this swap??
