Oh ok thanks, yeah the new turbo with this engine is rock solid feels brand new, i guess that could be it. I messed up pretty bad i googled cleaning MAF with brake cleaner and yeah..i see what i did wrong. I guess ill go to the shop tomorrow and order a new one and see how it goes. Do you think the bad MAFS could reuslt in me getting 220 miles on a full tank? instead of the 300+ I have no check engine light on.

it would make perfect sense getting weird gas milage readings with a messed up MAFS because your car wouldn't be calculating air flow correctly, which would directly affect the amount of fuel being used.

Do you have the stock airbox filter, or did you put a cone filter in? Your Audi being able to breathe would most definitely make your car louder.

i have a stock box, i cleaned it and put in a brand new OEM air filter. It breaths loud (could be a leak im not sure) the thing is its really slow i noticed, 0-60 time is 13 seconds, and the car jerks like it struggling to go. followed with bad gas mileage (15mpg), and i noticed when i filled up last night i was at the stop light in neutral and the engine started vibrating kind of rough for a few second, i gave some gas and then it went away.

Dont hold this to me, but it sounds like you killed your MAFS. You may wanna look into that more.

so i went and bought new a new bosch fuel filter and MAF sensor for $135, its actually the fuel filter, the cars body has 155k on it and the original owner never once changed it...its ridiculous, anyway i found out i need to drop the fuel tank a little to remove the fuel filter so i wasn't able to do it today. Im going to do it wensday morning and replace both. Ill probably need to replace the fuel pump also.
