Default 1.8T 1999 Quattro Boost Problem

Please help,
ive a new KK03-04 turbo, Spec-r boost valve & universal fuel pressure regulator fitted!
When my car boosts near 10psi I get thrown forward & the cars boost drops? what starts off promising ends up failing!

I have read on other forums that this could be due to ECU overboost protection that may possibly be hacked by adding a static ground to fuel pump relay

Then I discovered the Zener mod with a 4.3v or 4.7volt on the map sensor wires. However Im not convinced my A4 had a map sensor fitted?

Is a map sensor ( manifold absolute pressure ) simular/ or the same as a "Barometric pressure sensor" which I think my car may have?

Im looking for a cheap mod that can be done to fix my problem to allow me to manually set my desired boost poss 15psi on the specR valve
Thanks

Your car doesnt have a map sensor. Its for either 2000+ or 2001+. You arent able to do the diode mod. Is that the stock turbo that was on the car? If its bigger your going to need a tune.

are you chipped?, that would happen to me when i wasn't tuned and i would hit the psi limit for stock software. get a tune and you should be good.
