Hi, it happened before when i drove through a massive puddle that went over the car, immediately after the car started to stutter when accelerating and the speedo and fuel gauge became erratic.

I checked the ecu box, air filter as looking on forums that seemed to be the main cause for concern. after a few days of drying out, all was back to lovely driving pleasure.

However, yesterday i was out in heavy rain and the problem arose again, the speedo is currently not working, the fuel gauge is flickering around and the car is once again stuttering. it only happens when the car is wet and their is no obvious signs of water getting in somewhere it shouldn't be.

Any help would be much appreciated as i cannot afford to let a garage charge me £50+ and hour to look into it.
