2 for 2 breaking coilpack connectors
I give up. What's the secret? Trying to remove the connector from cp and I have broken both of the ones that I have attempted. I see the tang that holds the connector to the CP. I think I'm inclined to think it should release by pushing "down" on the rear of the connector (see option "A" on the photo that I am going to attempt to attach). When I push here, the tab that locks onto the cp does not move. Any ideas?

you spray lube, it will make it worst and you will crack your hands off of ****. sparying lube is pointless imo.
there are special tools you can buy to help make em easier.
basicaly you push that clip down, and pull the connector. don't feel bad about breaking them, I have broken 1 on mine.

You need to push the connector in before pressing the tab, this allows the clip end of the tab to release from what it grabs onto before you can pull it off. If the connector is as far out as possible the clip will not release when you press the tab which is why it is not moving when you press them. So you want to push in, push the tab down and then pull the connector out.
Thanks for the feedback. Going to order some new connector housings today. I wouldn't be surprised if they are lots more flexible to the ones that are on the car which have been in super hot&cold environment for almost 10 years. Probably a good part to have spares on the shelf in the garage.
I guess the dealership is my only option, right?
Thanks again...
