Loving this!! I've seen one B5 with the swap done at a local meet and it looked factory.

...Tryin to hide my jealousy.

I'm sure you've seen but if not, here's the Russian's 4,2 swap build thread. Same year A6 4.2 that you're using. 4.2 swap into 2001 A4

My goal is to look as stock as possible. I also have to retain all emissions equipment for state regulations.

I have read through the Russian's thread as some others. I hope to have more progress to post tomorrow.

Today started out installing the newly resurfaced flywheel and Stage 1 clutch.

BTW, if you plan on doing this swap and running a dual mass flywheel, you must use a 1/16" spacer between the flywheel and crankshaft.
