I am having an issue I can't figure out with my aeb 1.8t. The car is 5 speed quattro and bogs pretty bad at low rpms 1000-3000. It will studder and shake kind of like it's misfiring really bad, but it is not. It only does this when the engine is up to full operating temp. It will not do it when the car is cold. There are no boost leaks, has new plugs gapped at .030, MAF works fine via vagcom, no check engine lights. I have no idea what the issue can be. Any ideas? Thanks

 

No codes what so ever?
Check coils and try to bug it til it throws a code... Is it stock..? Could be a bunch of things
Ignition control module
Couls and much more...

 

Sounds like maybe an engine temp sensor or coolant sensor.....if ecu thinks the engine is cold, and its really hot, then ecu cant properly adjust, will cause problems once car heats up.
