Default 98 Audi a4 1.8t problems

So i have a 98 audi a4 1.8t. Has a ko4 turbo upgrade, 350cc injectors. Around like 10 psi or so it like cuts out and lags. i know it needs new coil packs. could that be why its cuting out at like 10 psi?

Is the ECU tuned? I'd hope so, or there's no way it'll run right. Have you scanned for codes? You have a boost gauge - what's it reading at idle when warmed up?

Yeah it's tuned. And yeah the codes said it has a misfire on cylinders 4,3 and 2. That's why I think it needs new coils. Could it be a boost leak or n75 valve or what? Like I'm going to put new coils on tomorrow and see what happens. If that don't work I don't know what it is

one thing i notice is usually only one coil goes out at a time not all 3 and when they go out they go out no sorta go out. in my opinion it sounds like you have a bad a/f mixture and the lag out feeling you get might be the knock sensor doing it's job and trying to retard timing.

How do I fix a/f mixture?

well like the other guy's in here have asked you, if you don't have the right injectors the mixture is going to be bad, if you don't have the right tune it well have a bad mixture, if the MAF sensor is faulty or getting a bad reading it well make you have a bad mixture, vacuum leaks well make a bad mixture, timing been off, All of these can start misfires .

yesterday i got misfire on cyl 4 ,cyl 3 and code p1136 i had a small vacuum leak by my intake manifold fixed it and done.

for the coils just check them turn the car on and unplug each one at a time, if the car does not change or sound uneven the coil is out you need a new one if you unplug it and car stalls and sounds uneven the coil is working. try that before spending money on new ones
