99 A4 1.8t AEB fwd not starting
My car doesn't start. I just changed the clutch and found the wire that runs to the solenoid got pinched and did the repair on that.
Here's what I've checked over and replaced:
- battery is new and was tested before leaving the store
- starter is also new and was tested before leaving the store
- the wire to the solenoid was repaired and has continuity however does not get a signal to trigger the solenoid
- clutch pedal switch is fine
- all relays in lower kick panel checked and fine
- all fuses checked and fine
I have full continuity for the wire to the solenoid all the way from the solenoid to the box with the ECU. I suspect that the ignition switch is the part that's making my life hell.
Anyone got any other ideas as to what the problem can be or in agreement with my diagnosis?
