a4 b5 heating problem
- Hello guys,
I had problem with my water pump, the temp. reached 120 C. so I changed the water pump, timing belt and the thermostat, it went fine for a week time, then it start to overheat again,
I guess it is the head gasket, so I used

the car went really great and the temp. gauge is between 70 and 85 C ( I am in Sweden and it is now -10 C )
The heater is blowing cold air, I flushed the heater core and there was no problems.
This issue happened just after a friend of mine went through the hidden service menu and changed some setting..
the question is what the hell happened to the heating system and how to get the setting back? I tried to take the battery cable out the whole night but no chance.
Thanks in advance and please do not ignore this post.

What stuck out in your post was the comment about the hidden service menu.
I went to youtube and typed (in the search bar) Audi A4 B5 hidden service menu, and several videos came up. I don't know the year of your car or if this would work but maybe it is worth a try to investigate.

Regarding the hidden menu, I've asked and searched and no one has any idea about the values and what they should be, most of them use the hidden menu for speed, engine temp. and so
So I requested a guy to get me the values as same as his car setting.
