I recently purchased a 2000 a42.8 quattro. the heater core was blown. Some one had bypassed the core. I made the mistake of hiring a semi-pro mechanic. well, the car runs great now, but the driver information system now throws three errors - the errors show after I put it in gear or on power up if I manually run autotest.the errors are "brake light," the picture of a bulb with an x through it. and the low washer fluid picture of old faithful. I suspect the mechanic has cut a wire or two or failed to seat a connector. Fuses all look ok, plenty of fluid, all lights seem ok, shop cleared an airbag fault but these faults remain. Ideas?
