I recently had my heater core replaced in my 2001 A4. After having that repair made my a/c is leaking in the evaporator and the flap that allows air to recirculate stopped working.

Can someone tell me if they think that when replacing the heater core these others things could have been damaged? Are those components near each other?

Any info would be helpful, thanks.
