yea im working on getting the green tops with adjustable fpr 5bar...... but i thought the more fuel less air is bad for the motor not more air less fuel?

plz explain

No, running lean (higher afr) is much worse on a turbo car. It will cause detonation, super high EGT's, overheating, and serious damage to engine parts (Valves and pistons specifically).
A rich mixture (more fuel, so a lower afr) will typically just be wasted fuel on a turbo car. The engine may run a bit sluggish as the combustion is not as violent and the unburned fuel will be dumped into the cat.
For the best performing turbo car, you want an air to fuel ratio as lean as possible, while not being dangerous to the engine.

Both are just as bad. Running too rich will cause the cylinder walls to be washed down and cause more wear on the rings. The AFR needs to stay in set range too keep the engine safe.

If you are running a tune designed for the stock FPR then you need to be running it. Putting in a 5 bar fpr forces the stock injectors to spray more fuel then they tune was meant to use and at WOT your ECU is not adjusting for that extra fuel and is allowing the AFR to be way too rich. It is just like if you were to throw in larger injectors.

yea i knew this just wasn't sure about the more air but now i know.. guess ima park it for now wait for my green tops to come u said i needed a 5bar fpr adjustable? after i get those parts im driving down south for the eurodayne tune

i should have known this i bought a dodge diesel the guy had a programmer and had the regular exhaust on it... egt's were to hot he burned up too pistons one and five...

whats the egt temp on the audi's?

You need to ask Eurodyne what FPR you need for their tune with the 440cc injectors.

Normal for me is around 1,400-1,600F

I disagree, running rich is a wear issue that happens over time. Running too lean can blow your motor in one WOT run.

WOT around 1500-1600f which is about normal for a turbo gas car.
