Is it a tiptronic? If so, be sure the TCM is plugged in and code-free. If you've yanked the engine, you've unplugged a lot of stuff... something is probably not plugged in. Crank position sensor, TCM, coil pack...


Also, I believe ln 2 is just a service interval light.
Yeah as I was doing it I remembered learning about Arcs in current and such. But honestly at this point if the car killed me it would just be ironic. I dont give a **** anymore. Where was I? Oh yeah, it's a manual.

Can you think of a systematic way for me to check each connection? I have SEVERE ADD and it's hard for me to stay on track with things like this.

In2 is an inspection minder. I have never seen "redir" before - it seems like a blanket failure to talk to the ECU. Maybe a grounding issue or a blown ECU-related fuse or fusible link that's keeping the ECU from powering up or going into a run mode...?

I've always touched my spark plugs to metal one at a time. No arc for me.
