Default Anyone else having AC issues?

So here's the deal... I haven't searched. There, I said it.

My car has this issue where the AC only blows cold when I am driving. If I come to a stop, the RPMs drop and the compressor turns off. So warm, humid air comes out. The compressor will kick back on, but not long enough to fix this warm humid air issue. Once I get moving again, it cools down and everything is fine.

Is it a compressor issue, condensor issue, pressure sensor issue, freon charge issue?

Any ideas? I would like to have some input prior to taking it in to a shop. Like if someone had the same issue and it was fixed with a charge and I take it to a shop and they try and sell me a new compressor or something dumb like that.... I would feel better having some insight from you guys.

TIA

Do a google search for "ewok_fetus" (I'm serious). It's the screenname of a guy in the Audi scene. I read a thread of his a couple years ago where he walked a guy through every step of troubleshooting the whole damn AC system. Unbelievably well-written and methodical. It's worth looking up and following.

I have the same issue, the air is cold when the car is moving but if I stop at a light the air is no longer cold. I had the system recharged last year, it helped some but the issue still remains.
