Hi, I have major issues with my 1998 2.6 cabriolet. It all began when the pwer hood failed.While checking the switch it touched two wires together and blew a fuse, not a big issue I hear you say.The car now has no dash lights and no ignition. I still have central locking, power windows etc. It gets worse. Had an auto electrician look at it. We cannot find a secondary fuse box, have virtually taken everything out of the interior with no success. The boot wont open and the auto electrician thinks the second fuse box must be in the boot, can't find it anywhere else; I am desperately needing help here. Oh yes, have removed the ski bag to get to the boot,taken off the only two visible nuts hoping to release the boot but without success.Someone out here must know either where the second fuse box is or how to open the boot. Regarding the power hood, having read numerous posts on various sites I think I now know where the fault will lie, again in the boot (wiring) and the hydraulic pump. Please, any help will be appreciated.
