Aux Input Help Please
Hello everyone, first time poster, long time audi owner.
Recently I have been trying to purchase an aux input module for my
99 A4. Apparently none of the idiots I have been trying to purchase
this module from can answer my very straightforward question. I have
a Concert head unit, with the optional Bose system and trunk mounted
CD changer. I am wondering what aux input module will work for this
setup, I have looked at the Blitzsafe and PIE modules, and they have a
plethora of different wiring harnesses. From what I have surmised on my
own I will simply be removing the jack for the trunk CD changer which
appears to be an 8 pin connector, which sits alongside 2 other connectors
in the back of the head unit? I have read things about a 20 pin single piece
connector that could also be a possiblity, and invloves some additional
conversion harness.
In an ideal world where the US postal service delivers packages properly,
I would have taken the radio out myself and looked, but the DIN keys I
ordered some 2 weeks ago to do so have apparently been lost. I have
been banging my head on my desk trying to get this accomplished in an
expedient manner, this is my last hope.
