Default b5 s4 clutch

so im considering a b5 s4 for my next purchase. the clutch is "blown" according to the seller. i dont know much more, but at the price ($3300) and given the timing and water pump was recently done, it sounds like a good deal. so im thinking of going stage 2 for the clutch. by the time im done with performance, im looking to sit around 400-450 awhp. any suggestions on brands and should i go stage 2 or stage 3? im not looking to cheap out either.

I have always had FANTASTIC results out of all APR products. I wouldn't see any reason to go higher than the Stage II Endurance.

You know the phrase "there's nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche."? It applies to S4's too, unless you know for a fact that the rest of the car is in great shape prepare yourself to spend at least 1.5x what you bought it for to get it into decent shape.

S4 is so sexy though, but nonetheless you are spot on.

Yea, my spending cap is set at $7k max. I mostly want it for the rare color. I plan on doing either a frankenturbo or k04 setup at some point. I wouldn't be doing the work on it myself to get it together and running either, given that the trans is out of the car, and it's located in Chicago and I'm a 14 hr drive away from it.
