Default BBK question...

I know the previous owner had installed the ECS BBK with the TT carriers......am I to assume then when i change pads I'll be looking for TT brake pads or something different?

I know I can just order them from ECS and be done with it but for general knowledge would be grrrrreat.

I am pretty sure you get brake pads for your A4 because I believe you are still using your stock brake calipers. The carriers just increase the clamping leverage of the brakes.

No problem. Ya I can understand your hesitation, as I thought about that too the when I had first started looking at BBKs. As long as the calipers haven't been upgraded, then you should be fine.

Just to put a nail in this, you will need A4 pads. The TT carriers move the A4 calipers out farther to clear the A8 rotors, but since they are still A4 calipers you will still use A4 pads.
