i have a 16g turbo that i am getting rebuilt and i am having a custom turbo manifold made for it to work with my a4

anyone ever heard of doing this?..i mean i know 16g's are really great turbos and my friend is putting out close to 400awhp with one on his talon.

so wht would you guys say...go with 440cc's and a BT tune? from like upsolute or something?

and also, has anyone ever ran a "blow-thru" setup on a 1.8t?

thanks
I have thought about this also. I own a '93 DSM that I've worked over a bit. The DSM guys are not afraid to experiment though alot of it has already been done. The A4 guy's had better watch out for people like you. Those who say it can't be done are often interuped by those who think outside the box. Go hard and keep us posted. I think you can do it.

no one said he cant do it.. but for the amount of work and the amount of gains, there are much better options, but its kemp.. so he is going to do it how he likes and ignore all of the suggestions given to him from people with experience.

Like I said "Think outside Your box". This is another "option".

The VAG mafs die rather eaisily and wont really stand the heat well. Its far from a mitsu maf which i have said before. Not to mention a maf is not designed to read pressurized air. There is already great tuning available but like typical Kemp, he tries to cheap out, not go out side the box. If anyone here thinks/does things outside of the box its me, and even IM saying its ill advised.

you need to read his previous threads to grasp all that is KEMP!!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=YFsI4K9mGZA heres the vid of my race

and i TOLD you i was doing a 16g, and i asked wht tune you guys would recomend with 440cc's?

i have a guy making my manifold for the 16g for cheap cuz i know him well, and ill buy a j-pipe if i dont clock the turbo.

but what i was wondering is...just to be able to drive it for a bit, would i be safe to run 10psi on the 16g with my current tune? until i get my tune?

im just asking for your guys help on what i wanna do, so dont bash me on my ideas.

wht oil lines would i need? and im pretty sure once i have the manifold and DP made, its an almost direct bolt up..correct?
