Brake Fluid Flush With ESP
I'm planning on flushing my brakes tomorrow and have heard conflicting reports of needing vagcom when having esp. Any idea for sure if I need it, and if so what's the procedure? Another thing is I usually go rr, lr, rf, lf but with it being an Audi there's always a special trick so I just wanted to make sure its that way.
Just manually flush them. Manually flushing them with a pressure bleeder will push the fluid through the ABS lines. Unless you've experienced issues with the ABS pump or valve block or have replaced ABS hydraulic parts, it's not really necessary to use a VAGcom.
But if you'd like to do it, the ESP/ABS pump must be activated using basic settings.

you are correct. I'm pretty sure you start from the farthest point from the reservoir and work your way closer to it, so Right Rear, Left Rear, Right Front, Left Front is correct. I think the rule of thumb is if the reservoir is on the left you start right rear and if the reservoir is on the right you start right rear
