Default Car is giving me a kick back when slowing down...any help?

Hey guys, I'm with my 01' a4 quattro and ive had it for a year...had some issues and now im starting to worrry theres another one. Basically when I drive in the city, and i slow down from lets say 45mph to a complete stop....around 20-5mph I get a bit of a kick coming from my car. I'm not car guy, but i would guess i feel the kick anywhere from 2nd to 1st gear, possibly when it shifts down. Its very minute feeling but its there. I'm worried that it could be a transmission issue, or something like that. And it doesn't happen everytime i slow down, usually half the time and its random at what speed.

My warranty is shot out so if its expensive, im definately gonna fix it and dump this car...way too many issues so far and they are all so f'n expensive lol.

Any idea guys?

FYI, i dont feel this kick going from 0-60, its only when I deccelerate.

BTW, im not sure if u guys changed the layout of the forums or whatever, but if im not in the A4 Forum for 2001 model, please move it

Check your engine mounts. Bad ones'll do what you're describing. When they're bad, it's obvious. They leak a dark, purplish fluid.
