Default Car stalls...sometimes

Ok here's the story.

I left my house one night and my car died quickly after driving. So I thought maybe I let go of the clutch to quick. Anyways tried to start it up, nothing. Waited about five minutes start right back up and no problems. TWO DAYS later leaving my house again, same problem, start back up took off five minutes down the road it just died on me again. Aftering waiting about 5 min. trying to start it up nothing. Finally started up went to work everything seems ok. But than left work no problem drove for about 15 min. car died again. This time no matter how long I waited car did not start back up. Called AAA to have it towed. Brought it to my mechanic who has had it for 2.5 days says can't find anything wrong with it. He has even drove it himself and says hasn't died on him.
Oh I want to mention that right when it is dying the oil warning light flashes. Oil level is fine. Could it be an oil sensor?

your car is possessed lol. how does your oil look? open your oil cap and see if you see black gunk, stick your finger in there and swirl it around a bit.

wild *** guess: clogged fuel filter, or fuel pump on its way out.

fuel filter or throttle body needs cleaning out ( RPM drops too low which cuts the engine out ) a dirty throttle body would do that because the butterfly/throttle flap is gunked up

for the fuel filter, either change it or maybe some seafoam could take care of it. for the throttle body, get a bottle of intake/throttle body cleaner.

Thanks I'll clean it out and see what happens. You guys are the best , I knew I'd find the answer here, who needs mechanics!
