i need to find the two catlylic converters on a 98 a4 2.8l quattro . anyone know some place cheap? or universal? do the job? thanks im in elgin Il..ANYHELP will be appreciated need to pass emissions asap..

 

Well a lot of people will argue that aftermarket cats "do not work" but i've experienced the opposite. Summit Racing can have a highflow magnaflow cat delivered to your front door in a few days for 50 or so dollars. They are good cats, and have pre-welded o2 sensor bungs in them. If by some chance when its on and you throw another code, buy an o2 sensor spacer to compensate for the high flow on the rear sensor and all should be gravy. My vw, bmw, and other cars all did well with this cat and honestly didn't have to space the sensor out of the stream of flow at all
