I agree with dragon. I'd tell the kid to f*ck off. In any event, you won't use the stock radio keys to pull the aftermarket radio. It may or may not have its own set of radio keys that you'd have to track down, or it might just pop out. In either case I wouldn't think thaking the dash completely apart would be necessary
Anyone want to take a shot at the greenlight in the tach I pictured above?
The light is always lit and its a green circle with (<-1->) in it? I can't find it in the manual anywhere?

I'm serious, I think its the headlight symbol. Does the symbol look like two headlights shining in opposite directions? Either your car originated in Canada where they need to have daytime running lights and then they had the feature shut off via Vag Com or something else is wrong. But I definitely think its the headlight symbol.
