Hey guys I have 98 A4 2.8QM that has a permanent cel...j/k. I scanned it for codes and get codes for random misfire and misfires on cylinders 1-3 but no other codes. Took the car for a full diagnostic and nothing. Changed spark plugs, spark plug wires, coil pack, breather hose witht valves, valve cover gaskets, coolant temp sensor and god only knows what else. CEL would not turn off...even after clearing codes cel comes back. Codes arent really telling me anything because random misfires could be caused by most of the above and Im not getting any other codes that could lead me to the main problem. I dont know guys need to pass emission and failed once already. Any advice would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
