Default changing my clutch

my stock clutch is really deep and i am losing power by the minute. now i also plan to do some upgrades where my stock b5 will have around 240 at the crank and about 260 torque. should i go for a stock new clutch or a stage 2 or 3 any help will be appreciated.

also any input on what i can do to get more juice from my stock turbo without an upgrade and something more reliable than a manual boost controller.
thinking about a diverter valve not much knowledge about them so any suggestions?

thank you

stage 2 will be fine, you can get a stage 3 or higher in case you go BT later. dont want to have to do the job twice. and i'd recommend Southbend

i would go with a stage 3. You can basically beat the clutch all day long and it will not give up on you. Unless you go with BT.

Get your ecu chipped/flashed for about40-50 more hp over stock, with good reliability. Also I recommend replacingthe stock dv with Forge 007P,or other brandpiston-type dv, and check/replace/re-gap your spark plugs as necessary.

Ricky, just so you know, stage 3 depends on the company. Some companies who label their clutch stage 3, can hold more or less power than another companies stage 3. There's no set standard for what each stage holds.

I agree with Chaos, I also highly recommand southbend clutches, the stage 3 for you.. Holds 300ft/lbs of torque iirc. Which will be perfect for your goals, you could launch all day with it with no problems. The stage 2 would hold also, but I don't know if it would hold up as well to repeated launches/track use or like chaos mentioned, if you decide to get a bigger turbo down the road, you won't have to worry much about your clutch.
