eh, not sure the ko4 will be pushing more are at 16-18psi and i don't think that the ecu could compensate for that much air fuel wise, you could do it run a different fuel pressure regulator and log your fuel maps and your afr make sure your running correctly but it doesn't sound like you wanna do that. I would think you could get away with not running a fmic with the k04 and a mild tune, but you would have to do injectors and i THINK they just use the ones off the tt225

unitronics software then... Won't need the the extra stuff IRC. GIAC recommends those upgrades to help with the added power and heat to reach those #'s

How does the unitronics work? Just not as high of numbers hp wise since no injectors or fmic. Guessing just lower boost and less aggresive tune.

The unitronics says you need injectors as well. Maybe ill just run 14psi with a MBC and the diode. Pretty sure intake temps and the ecu would be able to compensate for the extra air even with the Ko4. Please let me know if I am wrong. Im just trying to get a way with some extra power without spending the big money and be safe about it.

Yes, it will compensate if you are going in the 16-17 psi range. No more than that though.

Ok I think that's what I'll end up doing then. Any recommendations on MBC or is a turbo xs simple bleeder ok? Also is the 710n enough to hold the 16-17psi?

Just go K03 chip and be done with it. This will give you slight more power then if you had a K03 in the car but not the full power of the K04. This will be more power then going just MBC since you are running stock tuning at this time. The chip will also give you better MPG during normal off boost driving.

GIAC and APR K03 chip for the 01 will push around 18-21psi.
