Default Clutch slave and master cylinder advise.

Alright. First id would like to thank everyone on here for their knowledge and willingness to share it. After 3 months, I have finally diagnosed my clutch problem, i think. It all started with a randon misfire in cyl 4. i took me a month and ahalf to track it down. Turned out to be a pin hole in the fuel injector o-ring. It sucked! Anyway after fixing this i took the car for a ride and it didnt want to go into first or reverse. I mean the clutch got hard to puch and it just wouldnt go unless you shut the car off. i could drive fine as long as i got going. i even got up to 30-35mph and put it in fifth just to see what would happen. it did fine, no stuttering or anything. Well after reading here and researching everywhere, i believe my problem to be a faulty clutch slave cylinder and/or clutch master cylinder. I already got the parts and will be doing this repair over the next week. If any of you have any advise on this please feel free to share. And again Thank you all for the help.

Most likely the slave, if it is not lined up correct and is allowed to fully extend and the pedal will get very hard at that point. You do not want to push beyond that or the slave will pop the piston out the end.
