what was the result of the random misfire? my allroad is doing same thing. changed plugs,
no difference.

 

If there's oil on the plugs, you have a leaky valve cover gasket. Change it out.

OK i had, just like you guys:
trouble starting at very start
misfire on 1 & 2, switch the sparks, then problem was on 3 & 4
so i changed a spark, got scared, changed all 4.

About a year later after a rough winter i bought a new battery...

1. Still getting no power at low throttle...so i went to check my codes, i had multiple misfires _ misefire1, misfire2 + 02 sensor something
2. Changed my O2 Sensor, still no power constant.
3. Checked my gas pump, works good!
4. Bought a new catalyser because my muffler got full of ice last winter for a week...
5. tried to start again, then the catalyser went full red in a minute!!!

I took away the muffler, then the catalyser was running normal.
Could it be my muffler's broken or full-o-**** or causing multiple misfires???

So i stood back to think about it...Last year when i opened my car to do the fixes, my spark-plugs and all the ceramic was melted down., put brand new 150$ coils, no change... (my old coils were all dry, explosion, turbo and motor are perfect too...).

Could it be the ignition system inside? because the car's can't keep power on when parked or running on 1st gear???

I'M lost, I've tried everything, i have an Audi A4 1.8T, 1999, and i don't even beat it up, i got a another car for that....

my car is having the flashing check engine light its loosing power when accelerating and its shaking and my number 2 cylinder is misfirring i replaced the icm and it ran perfect for 4 days and now im back in the same boat do you have any ideas on whats going on mines an audie a4 quattro turbo

It is not dripping coolant by the spark plugs, I mean they are dry (As it should be)
