Default Control arm replacement problem

I had my control arms done about a year ago and now the driver side lower rear control arm is squeaking, so i decided to replace it myself. I got it out, but when i unbolted it, the 4 link assembly jutted forward and i can't figure out a way to push it back far enough to bolt it in. Strut spring compressor doesn't help, nor does jacking it up. I'm going to try and jack it up at an angle now, but does anyone have a trick for this?
