Hey guys, car is needing new coolant so I am going to be doing it myself. This will be my first time doing it on an Audi and already know that it needs G12 Red. Any hints or things to look out for while doing it? Thanks

I have but didn't get very far. I'm still getting use to navigating through all the forums though.

 

What other items are you replacing besides the coolant?

1999 MY specification calls for G012 or similar aftermarket coolant such as Pentosin Pentofrost SF, which meets VAG specification from mid-1996 through 2005 MY.

 

I'll be changing my oil and oil filter before that but that's pretty straight forward on these cars. I was planning on doing it come January because it is getting old. I didn't realize it would start messing with things.
