Unhappy Coolant Light. Please help!!!

Ok, I have searched the threads and got some informations from them. I have 97 2.8 B5. The coolant light started to blink only if I would drive above 60 mph. Now the light will turn on when the car is started. It seems almost like there is a small leak. There is a crust around the end of the hoses. I am not exactly sure what that mean. But It is very odd that it would leak, but there is no sign of coolant on the floor. ANY help will be appreciated!!!

Yeah there should be a damaged hose or lossen clamp somewhere. Check your hoses and replace the ones that are leaking...

Do you have a check engine light?
Isn't your engine temperature over heating? Make sure to be topping it up til you find the hose and replace it.

The car is not over heating. The temp gauge is right in the middle, plus it is like 18 degrees out right now. I have no check engine light. The only thing that comes up is the inspect 1 when the car is turned on, But I read that is not critical.

ok I see man. However you do have a leak out somewhere. You'll have to find that out, or have it checked by someone. The diagnostic is free in most shops.

anyways Good luck
