I've changed my serpentine tensioner and my AC belt tensioner and I still have chirping noises coming from under the hood. so, I guess its my power steering pump. (timing belt kit done within the last 40,000 miles) Should I just ride this pump out until obvious failure? Other than a puddle of PS fluid under the car, what symptoms will indicate it is failing? Will it leave me on the side of the road, or can I still drive it home after failure?

 

Idea of if it is the power steering pump... Pinch of the low pressure hose, and if it is the power steering pump it will make the noises worse

 

You could try bleeding the power steering system, basically you turn the wheel from lock to lock a bunch of times. Failing fan bearings for the HVAC system will make a similar noise FYI.

 

I have the HVAC squeak in the cabin on an intermittent basis, also. LOL
