Default cup holders in the back seat?

i dont know if im just stupid and cant find them, but since there are no cup holders for the back seat, does anyone know of anything that works really well with the audi's back seat to give people in the rear a place to put their cups rather than the two in the center (back cant reach them). thanks!

checked both places.... none
i have the ski sack there when you pull down the armrest in the back so i dont know if that means that option makes you not have cupholders or what.

Cut a piece of wood to fit in the armrest, cut out two circles that will fit drink cups/cans, trim the wood with something or paint it, and stick it in the armrest.

Yeah I think these cars were definitely lacking in the cup holder department pre-99.5. The two next to my parking brake lever are pathetic. Did they get any better after that? You could try gettin one of those ones that hangs from the little gap where the window goes inside the door?

And I third the motion to strike ski sacks from the rear armrest :P

In my 99, the cupholders aren't those little pop-up jobs next to the e-brake, they're the two fixed recesses below the armrest. They hold drinks fine but they still suck - get a coffee any bigger than medium (and I have no use for medium coffees), and when you flip down the armrest and lean on it, you crush the lid of the coffee cup. Use a travel cup, and the armrest looks like it's on Viagra and it stabs you in the armpit.

I liked it in my Z - no cupholder unless you pulled the ashtray out of the console, but the space between the hip bolster and door sill held a Biggie coke from Wendy's perfectly

Is the 2000-2001 any better? My 99.5 only has the dash one and the 2 under the arm rest. The ones under the arm rest are useless and pathetic. I like the one on the dash though.
