dash cluster???
I was installing my podi and boost gauge and i realized when i got finished i forgot to connect the vacuum hose into the back of it.. So i took it back out and worked it on and replaced it... and then realized that my display in my dash did not work at all... all the lights were out. When i started it and drove it up to get the mail none of the gauges worked except my boost gauge! But turbo timer, capacitor, amp, and cd player all worked fine... So is there a hook up i could any1 of you could point me to?.?.?. that could be loose... Because the podi was a pain to get in.. But im figuring it could be a fuse also... Does this sound right?
I've read on here that the LEDs in the gauge cluster are prettyresilient but the wiring harness that runs to them is very tempermental, did you f*ck with it at all over the course of the gauge install?
no not at all i just ran wires and installed it... Everything was fine and once i realized the vacuum line wasnt on i took it out and reinstalled it to find out that it didnt work... Like i said the podi was a tight fit on the steering column but it wasnt like i felt things coming apart or lose it was just snug... Is the wiring harness on the steering column?
I see blue wiring harness hanging down I cant seem to find where it goes if anyone has any info on where it belongs please let me know!!! also a pic would be great.... I guess it came loose during puting everything back together..
just a fyi for anyone that runs into this just look straight up closest to the drivers side door from the steering column... that blue cluster is your gauge cluster... Its basically by itself... well on the 00 model anyway... Hiwords the reason it took me so long is because i was looking down on the steering column itself where there is 82327283 connections to see there was a opening... but yea all is good now so thanx..
