So I decided to save the $1200 and change out my leaking heater core myself. All seems to have went well until I turned on my defrost and its coming out of the foot vent and switches to cold air. Im 90% positive I have everything hooked up right. When I select the foot or dash vents it works.
Any ideas before I pull my dash again??

Please clear this up for me, you say when you turn on the defrost, cold air blows out of the foot vent, yet you say the foot vent and dash vents work fine? when do they work fine? do they blow hot air? what display does your control have on it when you turn on defrost?

 

if I have the foot vent selected then it will blow hot air then i select defrost and it switches to cold air out of the foot vents. Its seems as though the vent is not moving to direct the air up. Why its cold air I am at a total loss.
