Personally, i'm not a fan of that 'paint-on' caliper paint. My opinion is that the paint is too thick, and makes the calipers look goopy. (no offense) I understand it's all a matter of personal choice.

I used high-temp ceramic engine paint on mine. With spray-paint, you get a more even, natural looking, coating. Here are a couple pics for reference:

As mentioned, don't forget to clear-coat them

There is a kind of caliper paint that is an epoxy that you brush on and it holds its color good and is very durable...cant remeber what brand but its like $40

Then theres the Dupli color kit for $15 I used on my audi.....never again! fades after a year due to high temps is stained by brake dust and doesnt hold up to bumps and scratches that well.

Default caliper paint

I used 2 part paint on mine with a detail gun. About 35 bucks in paint and 2 coats. I also hit the hats with some black to clean the look up. I like the rings on the red calipers, that looks sick!

Take care, Matt.

Now you tell me, thats what I just did mine in! If it fades, I guess I know what to do.

I spray painted my wheels, and wasn't happy with the result, so I just got them powder coated. If you have like an extra $200 and do with out your car for a week, that is the way to go! They look brand new!

I broke mine down and had them powder coated, but if you do not have an extra set of brakes it will cause down time. I sent my calipers out to be powder coated and then rebuilt them myself. Here was the final results.

Powder coat = Bad-***...

I think that question was directed at me.... I had to take them to a different place to have them blasted. Know one around here does both for some reason.
