Default Different gas station causing misfire

Hello, I just got a 1999 A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro. I am loving the car and it runs fantastic. The first tank of gas i put in the car last week was from Arco 91. And the check engine light has been on and flashing at me ever since. I checked the codes and it was a misfire. Yesterday morning i filled up at a 76 station 91 of course and the check engine light has not returned. Any one else have this happen to them? This is my first Audi and didnt think the car would be so picky. Cuz i can put whatever the hell i want in my Nissan and it doesnt skip a beat.

thats odd, never had that happen to me

maybe just a bad batch of gas?
although sticking to a single common gas station isn't a bad idea.

I'm sure it's a coincidence and the cel will return. Be prepared to replace a coil pack(s).

You might have not screwed the gas cap on all the way the first fill up. That would cause an evap leak and possibly a misfire... Our engines arent picky about different brands of fuel.
