can someone simply explain which hose needs to go on which end of a DV. I think i have them backwards but the valve still works... Does the coolant return line go on the bottom port of the valve or is it the other way around. There are just no simple explainations or pictures i can find on the matter.

 

the DIY article i made for the 006/004 explains it. piston valves should have the bottom of the valve in the turbo outlet hose and the side going to the TIP, diaphragm valves have the side going into the outlet hose and the bottom going to the TIP. and bov's just go into the turbo outlet hose
