I have an 01 a4 1.8t engine code awm mtrans it needs a motor i found one out of an 01 passat same engine code and mtrans. does anyone know if these engines are the same and compatible to swap? would there be any difference in compression ratio between the non turbo passat and the turbo a4? any help with this would be much appreciated thanks!

all the passats that were 4 had a turbo the only 1.8 ive seen is on a jetta
