Will the passat 2.8 v6 interchange with the a4 2.8 12 v? I have a 1997 a4 2.8 quattro that needs a motor and i see the passat motor is less than the a4 though they look identical will they work?

 

teh passat motor is a 30 valve aha whereas you have teh AFC 12v, the motor will fit but youll havet o swap over the ecu, harness and what not. im pretty sure if oyu can find an older A6 thats obd itll fit, otherwise keep looking or contact shokan.com their an audi junkyard, you might get lucky.
